Yesterday, 38 Studios announced that we’ve licensed NaturalMotion’s animation technology, morpheme, for our MMO codenamed Copernicus. We have a new mechanics lead! Travis McGeathy, former lead designer of EverQuest, has replaced Jason Roberts as our systems design lead. Roberts, former lead designer of EverQuest II, is now our overall design director, and Steve Danuser will remain our lead content designer. The press release has more information after the break.

WPI GDC will be hosting a GameJam in affiliation with 38 Studios this weekend! It’s at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Atwater-Kent Labs, Room 120D.
